Magic Words by Phil M Jones

This is a great book for anyone relatively new to sales, and a great refresher to those that are a bit longer in the tooth.  It has some great pointers, some great suggestions and really gets you thinking about what you're saying - the words to use and the context to use them in to get maximum results.

How to Save an Hour Every Day by Michael Heppell

Time management is a constant theme in many coaching conversations and training sessions.  There is lots a coach can do to help you identify your real priorities and get the most out of your time, and this book adds some really helpful, practical tips.  Click on the image to find out more and buy.

Winning! by Clive Woodward

 

Whether you're a rugby fan or not, this story of how England won the World Cup in 2003 is well worth a read (and this is being written by a Scotland fan!).  There are some great lessons about leadership, team building, focus, motivation and attention to detail - hugely relevant for anyone in business.  Click on the image to find out more and buy.

Six Thinking Hats by Edward de Bono

A real classic.  Whether it's about making quicker, better decisions, adding structure to meetings or better understanding the thought process a prospect (and you) is going through when you're pitching for a sale, this is well worth a read and deserves a place on everyone's bookshelf.  Click on the image to find out more and buy.

Presentation Genius by Simon Raybould

Everybody wants to be a better presenter.  This guide blends scientific research, real-world experience and a good chunk of humour to deliver a really useful practical aid.  If you're on Facebook look Simon up - he runs a great page on there too.  Click on the image to find out more about the book and buy.

'Stop Talking, Start Doing: A Kick in the Pants in Six Parts' by Shaa Wasmund and Richard Newton

This is a great book to really help you get going - whatever you want to achieve you have to take the first step and get moving.
